THINGS LOOK FAIRLY WRAPPED UP FOR 6 CHARITIES, THANKS TO BARRY GROUP, MALLOW.

Mr Jim Barry, Managing Director, Barry Group and his daughter Amy Barry, in conjunction with their customers Costcutter, CarryOut and Quik Pick presented €60K to Irish charities as part of their 60th Anniversary in 2015.

Focus Ireland (Stephanie Tipp) services for the homeless, the Jack & Jill Foundation which supports families of severely ill children, aid agency Concern (Derval O’Brien), Pieta House (Pat Duffy), the suicide and self-harm crisis centre, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind (Tim O’Mahony) and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin (Sarah O’Suilleabhain) all received funding from Barry Group, Mallow and its customer base Costcutter, Carryout and Quik Pick as beneficiaries of a major national fundraising campaign, which concludes the company’s 60th Anniversary celebrations.

The six charities were each presented with a cheque for €10K by Barry Group managing director Jim Barry and Ms Cork runner-up Amy Barry.

Speaking at the donation presentation Jim Barry said “Very few people in Ireland have escaped the hardship of recent years, but there are people who suffer day in, day out, on account of extreme poverty and ill health. At the Barry Group we could not think of a better way to celebrate our 60 years in business than by making this concerted effort to help” Jim Barry added.
